ACT Festival for Free Theater will be a showcase for Sofia's free scene for the fifteenth time. 180° - Laboratory for Innovative Art continues to be the only forum dedicated entirely to artistic experimentation and the unpredictability of the creative process. YOU ARE NOT ALONE is a festival that insists that cultural practice should be choreographed as a space for collaborative thinking outside of competition and stands against extractivist models. DA FEST, the festival for digital and interdisciplinary art, is celebrating an anniversary, and what an anniversary it is. MELBA Design Festival is a forum where we remind ourselves that design is in everything, and that's a good thing. The DERIDA International Contemporary Dance Festival will present some of the most interesting European dance performances of the past year over the course of two weeks.

Dear reader, maybe they taught you in school that life is a competition, a battle, a race, a war, a game of survival and what not. We don’t claim to know the answer.
