“While we wait for Godot” is a play about the disintegration of identity, about the impossibility of remaining the same person even during a single act of waiting. The characters exist in a world where roles, bodies, and relationships shift. Memory is unstable, identity is conditional, and time is a closed loop. The second act does not repeat the first, but rather deconstructs and rewrites it before the audience’s eyes.
Through post-dramatic theatrical language, shifting identities, and a reimagining of the actor’s presence, the production poses the question: if everything can be replaced, what actually remains of a person?
Perhaps only an attempt at a painful and absurd exploration of existence itself.
I wait, ergo sum.
