THE STORY OF A PASSION
What happens when two actors try to portray Don Quixote and Sancho Panza… through flamenco? When the virtuoso Spanish flamenco artist Carlos Otero meets the charm and theatrical energy of Asya Ivanova?
The result is “A Story of Passion”—a interplay between theater and flamenco, reality and imagination, in which the two embark on the adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho, switch roles, sing, dance, and draw the audience into their wild performance.
The original music by Nikolay Ivanov (OM)—winner of the “Ikar” and “Asker” awards for theater music and composer of music for over 55 films—intertwines with Carlos Otero’s raw, passionate voice. Asya Ivanova also joins in the live singing, while dance and theater transform *A Story of Passion* into a captivating musical-theatrical experience, brimming with humor, passion, and unexpected twists.
