MOTHER
Dance Performance
"Mother" explores the boundaries between the human and the digital, questioning how technology affects creativity and the perception of the body. The theme of generativity manifests in a dance where the body and artificial intelligence mutually influence each other, challenging the limits of stage performance. At the core of "Mother" is an exploration of the symbiotic relationship between humans and technological innovation and the question of how these interactions can transform human identity and experience. Through movement and interaction with AI, the performance invites reflection on the new forms of expression and connectivity emerging in this digital age.
The integration of technology into contemporary dance has opened a new horizon of artistic possibilities, turning the performance into an interactive and dynamic experience. The use of advanced software like Stream Diffusion not only enriches the visual aspect of the show but also creates a genuine creative partner that collaborates with the performers in real-time. Technology is not merely a visual aid but also plays a fundamental role in artistic co-creation, stimulating innovation and amplifying the emotional experience of the viewer. "Prompting" is the driving force behind the choreographic creation in "Mother." This technique allows choreographers to generate movements and sequences in real-time, leveraging the immediate interaction between the dancers and the given instructions. Verbal, visual, or auditory prompts are used to stimulate a creative and spontaneous response from both the performer and the machine.
