DERIDA STAGE

A space for contemporary dance, alternative cinema, and theater. The Derida Stage has traveled to many places over the years before settling in the center of Sofia. Its activities combine the production and staging of performances with a residency program for choreographers and educational initiatives. Derida Stage is part of the largest dance network, the European Dance Development Network.
PROGRAMME
Giovanni Fioretti's "Mother" asks us whether archaic rituals, metaphorically transferred into dialogue with innovation, can give rise to new mythologies. The code of artificial intelligence is usually more complex and therefore more difficult to review to see if someone has inserted malicious algorithms. As with any software, we want to know who created it and for what purpose. Is the source reliable? Is it competent?
Three personalities. Three characters. Strangers to each other. Unaware of each other. But more alike than they expect. Three strangers at the height of their careers who will meet sooner than they expect – in HELL. Each arrived there in a different way.
